Mrs. Abbie Sue Smith Reese of Dothan died Sunday, October 16, 2011. She was 86. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

Mrs. Reese was born February 14, 1925, in Greenville, Alabama, the daughter of the late John William and Pearlie Mae Smith. Mrs. Reese was the youngest of ten children and she retired from Dixie Fence Co.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Reese.

Survivors include sons, Robert L. Reese, Jr. and his wife, Ginny of Panama City Beach, FL; Joseph A. Reese and his wife, Adrienne of Montgomery; and one sister, Janie Rogers of Greenville, AL; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
