Single-vehicle wreck kills Dozier man

A single-vehicle crash Wednesday night claimed the life of a Dozier man.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. two miles north of Gantt on U.S. 29.

Roger Ladon Odom Jr., 50, of Dozier was traveling on U.S. 29 when his vehicle crossed the southbound lanes, hit a culvert and overturned.

Odom, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information is available at this time. The crash is being investigated by the Alabama State Troopers.
